1. Drop Your Pin & Details
Open the Bag & Book it webapp (no download needed), set your exact pickup location in Ontario, tell us how many bags you have, and optionally upload a photo of your bags to help the driver.
2. Get Your Upfront Price
Our system calculates a real-time price based on distance, volume, and bag count (1-3 bags, 4-6 bags, or 7+ with incremental pricing). Payment via Visa or PayPal secured at booking.
3. Choose Your Time Window
Select a pickup window that works for you (24+ hours notice required). Blackout dates apply for municipal garbage days and statutory holidays to avoid confusion.
4. Track Your Driver Live
Receive a notification when your driver is dispatched. Watch their GPS progress on the map. The driver takes a photo of your bags, loads them, completes the pickup, and sends you a photo receipt via email/SMS.
Prep & Access Checklist
Ensure a smooth, successful pickup. Following these simple rules prevents driver refusals and keeps our service fast for everyone.
All general waste must be fully contained within standard garbage bags. Bags must be securely tied at the top. If a bag is leaking, ripped, or overflowing, the driver cannot safely transport it and the pickup may be refused.
For the safety of our drivers, each bag must weigh less than 40 lbs. A good rule of thumb: if you cannot comfortably lift the bag with one hand, it is too heavy. Please distribute heavy items across multiple bags.
Bags must be placed outside, in a clearly visible and accessible location (e.g., end of driveway, curbside, or designated loading zone). Drivers cannot enter homes, backyards behind locked gates, or apartment building hallways to retrieve trash.
Ensure there is adequate space for a pickup truck or cargo van to safely pull up near the bags. In winter, please ensure the path to the bags is shoveled and free of ice.

A driver may refuse a pickup (resulting in a cancellation fee) if they encounter:

How fast can a driver arrive?
Depending on your location in Ontario and current demand, drivers can often arrive within 2-4 hours. You will see real-time ETA estimates in the app before you confirm your booking.
Do I need to be home for the pickup?
No! As long as the bags are placed outside in the accessible location you specified in the app, you do not need to be present. The driver will take a photo of the cleared space upon completion.
What if I have more bags than I originally entered?
If you add bags after booking, the driver will need to update the quote in the app upon arrival. You will need to approve the new price before they begin loading. To avoid delays, please accurately count your bags when booking.
How is payment handled?
All payments are processed securely when you book via Visa or PayPal. Payment is taken at the time of booking (not after pickup). If we cannot complete your pickup for any reason (hazardous materials, access issues, items don't match description), you receive an immediate credit or refund. Drivers photograph every pickup for proof of service.
