How to Get the Most Accurate Price
Our webapp uses simple bag-based pricing. Follow these steps to ensure your quoted price matches your final invoice exactly.
Count Your Bags Accurately
Enter the exact number of garbage bags you have. Our pricing is tiered: 1-3 bags, 4-6 bags, or 7+ bags (incremental per bag beyond 6). Miscounting will trigger a price adjustment at pickup.
Stay Under 40 lbs Per Bag
Each bag must weigh 40 lbs or less. Our drivers verify weight on-site. Overweight bags will be flagged and may be split into two billable units. This is the #1 cause of price recalculations—don't overpack.
Have Bags Ready at Pickup Location
Place all bags at curbside or the location you specified in the webapp (driveway, garage, etc.). Adding extra bags while the driver is there will require immediate price recalculation and payment authorization.
Our Final Price Policy & Verification
Trust requires transparency on both sides. At Bag & Book it, we guarantee the rates generated by our app. However, to protect our drivers and ensure fair pricing for all customers, every pickup is subject to an on-site verification.
When our team arrives, they will compare the physical items to the photos and descriptions you provided in the app. If you quoted 5 bags but present 15, or if you quoted curbside pickup but the items are in a basement, the driver is required to recalculate the price before loading begins.
You are always in control. If a recalculation is necessary due to a discrepancy, you will be informed immediately. You have the right to approve the updated price or decline the service before any items are moved. No bait-and-switch. No hidden fees. Just honest pricing based on reality.
